every student to find what is inside of them and express that through their
practice. She loves watching her students grow mentally, physically and spiritually
as they learn more and more about themselves through their yoga practices.

Maureen Miller, Yoga NH, in April 2012. Her training includes Yin Yoga training
with Josh Summers, TIMBO training with Sue Jones of Yoga Hope, as well as
workshops with Beryl Binder Birch. She

Plant Spirit Medicine

Julie Ellerbeck
Plant Spirit Medicine
Julie’s practice of Plant Spirit Medicine is centered in the ancient knowledge that to engage in health, one must engage with spirit. She recognizes how hard that can be in today’s world, as we struggle with all that life demands of us.
In her various roles providing guidance, Julie worked with many people who couldn’t find the help they really needed, as they would benefit from care that integrated all the issues of body, mind and spirit. This led her to study Herbalism, Classical Chinese Medicine, and the practice of Plant Spirit Medicine. It is in her work with Plant Spirit Medicine that she has found a depth and richness of spirit which can be generously shared with her patients.
Services
We, like all living things, hold an energetic pattern. Plant Spirit Medicine works with this pattern to restore balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. This ancient healing tradition works with the energies of the natural world, following the cycle of nature.
The Patient Experience
We all have our own way of moving in the world, of dealing with physical, emotional and life-path issues. Some of us have primary symptoms in the body, others, in emotion, and others present complex ailments that are not easily treated with conventional western medicine. As energetic balance is restored, ease in moving through life, mental and emotional steadiness, and physical harmony predominate; symptoms can lessen and fall away.
Consultation and Treatment
- Adults are scheduled for a two-hour consultation and exam.
- Children/teens are scheduled for consultation with a parent, older children and teens may speak with Julie one-on-one; thirty minutes to one hour is usual.
- A specific treatment plan is developed to meet the needs of each patient. Treatments are scheduled based on what is needed to restore balance, for health and well-being.
As with most alternative therapies, insurances do not cover Plant Spirit Medicine treatments. Every effort will be made to reach a satisfactory financial arrangement.
