Jilian M. Stogniew, DC, RYT
~ Chiropractor and Registered Yoga Teacher
Dr. Jilian Stogniew was born and raised in New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire and Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri as a Presidential Scholar and Valedictorian. She has completed numerous continuing education courses in adult health, pregnancy, and pediatric development. Dr. Jilian has been adjusted since childhood and has experienced optimal health through natural chiropractic care since her early years, overcoming chronic bronchitis and a depressed immune system. She has been adjusting both of her children since birth, creating two of the healthiest kids around!
Dr. Jilian is focused on educating and helping our community realize that innate potential in all of us. When she is not adjusting and educating our community, she enjoys yoga, running, hiking, camping and being a mom to her son Sebastian and her daughter Lucia.
Dr. Alissa Dimos, DC, CACCP
Dr. Alissa Dimos earned her B.A. In Biology from Saint Anselm College and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University College of Chiropractic, earning cum laude distinction. She was also the recipient of the Life University's Learning Theory/Critical Thinking core proficiency as elected by the faculty at the University.
Dr. Dimos has over five years of clinical experience and is highly regarded in the greater Manchester area as a leading Chiropractor working with a wide range of conditions and patients. She managed and ran a very successful family practice and has been named as one of the states "Top Chiropractors" by New Hampshire Magazine in both 2014 as well as 2015. She has completed hundreds of hours of specialty training pertaining to prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric chiropractic care and is certified in Pediatrics through the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (C.A.C.C.P). Dr. Alissa is also certified in the Webster technique, which is exclusively for pregnant women. This technique offers a greater potential for optimal fetal positioning by balancing the mother's pelvic alignment to help improve nerve system function. Her contribution to furthering chiropractic research has resulted in one of her cases being published in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health - Chiropractic.
Dr. Alissa has been under regular chiropractic care since she was a child and continues to be passionate about educating individuals and families about the importance of true overall health and how it can be improved with Chiropractic. Dr. Alissa is happily married, she and her husband James are New Hampshire natives and have two beautiful children.
Dr. Amanda Lajoie, DC
Dr. Amanda Lajoie was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire. She graduated magna cum laude with her bachelors from Fairfield University and her doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Lajoie has expanded her knowledge of health and wellness through continuing education courses on the subjects of neurology, kinesiology, soft tissue, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Lajoie has been under chiropractic care regularly her whole life. Growing up going to her Chiropractor helped her as young female athlete to maintain strength and prevent injury. In college she was a NCAA Division I athlete, and her passion for movement has carried over into her professional career. She is a certified group fitness and boot camp instructor who loves encouraging people to reach new health and wellness goals. Too often we are told what our body is incapable of doing; Dr. Lajoie wants to focus on educating patients on all the wonderful things the body is capable of when in the optimal condition. Her personal philosophy is that as a doctor her job is to teach her patients on how to live and function to their fullest potential. Outside of the office, Dr. Lajoie enjoys hiking and running with her fiancé and their German shepherd, Nala.
Erica Calcagno, DC, CACCP
8/8/79 - 3/25/16
Dr. Erica Calcagno was a Massachusetts native and relocated to the great state of New Hampshire to pursue a chiropractic associate position at Awakening Chiropractic. She obtained her B.S in Exercise Physiology from UMASS and her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, graduating magna cum-laude with clinical excellence awards from both colleges. Dr. Erica completed over 250 hours of continuing education involving the care of pediatric and pregnant populations including adjusting technique, diagnosis, neurosensory integration, neuroimmunity, neurology and research. She was issued a Certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (C.A.C.C.P.) from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and is Webster Technique Certified (a chiropractic technique that balances the maternal pelvis to allow for ideal fetal positioning). Her passion was always focused on helping families understand the power of Chiropractic and the role it can play in maintaining their overall health and wellness. Dr. Erica was a proud and loving mother of three beautiful children, Eliana, Kai and Olivia. She was fortunate to have had three amazing home births, and adjusted all of her kids since they were just hours old!
Dr. Erica was engaged in a powerful personal journey towards optimal health from the moment she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in January of 2015. Her journey took her through an abundance of holistic and alternative cancer treatments as well as what conventional healthcare has to offer. While Dr. Erica's battle was fought with grace and an open heart, she passed away just thirteen months after her initial diagnosis. Her strength, determination, and willingness to lead us all, will always be with us.

Angel has been well adjusted for over 14 years and a chiropractic assistant for over 10 years. After experiencing the power of Chiropractic, Angel left her corporate career to help educate our community on the benefits of chiropractic care by becoming a CA.
Angel is the friendly face that greets and assists all off of our patients at the front desk as they walk through the door. She enjoys spending her time with her family, her husband, Andy and their first child, Harrison, born December 2015.
~ Chiropractic Assistant
Justice was born in Maine but raised in New Hampshire most of her life. When she first started chiropractic care, she realized this was a healthier and natural way to take care of her body. Although receiving a Certification as an Eye Care Assistant, she took a position in chiropractic care as soon as the opportunity arose. She loves sharing the health benefits of Chiropractic care. She lives at home in Franklin with her young son. Her favorite things to do are hike, read, and cook.
Sylvie Chamberlin, LMT
~ LMT, Craniosacral Therapist, Reiki Master
Sylvie Chamberlin graduated from NorthEast Institute of Whole Health in 2002 and has been practicing massage therapy for over 12 years. She has experience working in a variety of settings providing Massage Therapy services for clients of all ages. Before becoming a Massage Therapist, Sylvie worked as an Occupational Therapist for 13 years working in a hospital, clinical, and home settings. Along with teaching her clients the importance of self care, she began to receive training in Craniosacral Therapy from instructors with the Upledger Institute, to help her clients get relief from chronic pain naturally. This treatment is a gentle manual therapy that helps the body to self-correct imbalances caused by tissue restrictions in the spinal cord and cranial bones. Craniosacral Therapy works at the deep core level, which provides relief for many types of chronic pain such as migraines and low back pain. Sylvie is also a Reiki Master in Usui, Karuna, and Shamanic practices. Reiki is a gentle laying on the hands treatment that helps the body heal through channeling of Life Force Energy facilitated by the therapist. She has had the honors to have learned and worked with many spiritual mentors and masters, therefore enhancing her work to an advanced level of care. Sylvie also offers Swedish Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy (deep tissue). Swedish is a light touch, relaxing massage with long soothing strokes, and Neuromuscular is a deeper touch on the muscles with focus on tight muscles and trigger points. Sylvie enjoys what she does in educating and empowering clients on the importance of good health, self-care practices and body awareness.
Outside of her work, Sylvie is a devoted mom to her 8 year old daughter, and teaches Sunday School at her local church community. When the weather is warm, she enjoys nature walks and meditating outdoors.
